Print Vs Digital books

 Do you think print books will be replaced by the digital books? No. Print books provide us various facilities. We can read a book anywhere anytime at remote places too. It may be on travelling, before sleeping, relaxing at afternoon sitting leisurely in a reclined chair. The other  people don't bother with that. Our minds always ready to search for new knowledge, new taste, new place. Till today print books are the main source for fulfilling the foods of our mind. Print books are permanent resources to make an archive as well as to restore the history of mankind. Digital books are easy to handle. We can carry millions of books through an android mobile. But when we want to read internet  is essential. Electronic devices are chargiable. So it may be another difficulty to read a digital book for a long time. We can read the digital books through Kindle also. The free books of kindle may not be satisfied our  requirements. We have to buy individually the required book her

Reading habit

Nurturing reading habit is the prime aim of Dibru College Central Library. To increase the book reader the library observes Librarians' Day at high schools that the teenagers can make their leisure time meaningful. The librarian, Dipika Das has delivered lectures in various academic platform to keep mental health secure and stress free by reading a book. Prominent writer Homen Bargohaign opines that remembering the long poems and recieting it people can away from dementia. Read Book and say bye bye to stress and dementia.

Welcome to Dibru College Library...

 Motto of the Library,  "Read, Lead and Succeed" . Library Website:  https://dibrucollegelibrar.wixsite.com/mysite Dibru College Central Library is an academic library. It was established simultaneously with the parent organization, Dibru College in 1963. It is full fledged two storied library building covering 594.57 sq Mts areas. Today, its collection is 44946 books along with a good number of journals and magazines, newspapers, pamphlets, etc . The total number of user is 3150 including faculty, staff and students.The library takes initiative to nurturing reading habit organising monthly sitting of Dibru College Readers' Club. It observed Librarian's Day every year. In Librarian' Day, it organises talk program in different high schools to provide Community Service. The Best Reader award has been awarded in observance of Librarians' Day. The library has some special section i.e.  Digital Library, Internet Section, Question Bank Section and Book Bank Section
