Dibru College Central Library is an academic library. It was established simultaneously with the parent organization, Dibru College in 1963. It is full fledged two storied library building covering 594.57 sq Mts areas. Today, its collection is 44946 books along with a good number of journals and magazines, newspapers, pamphlets, etc . The total number of user is 3150 including faculty, staff and students.The library takes initiative to nurturing reading habit organising monthly sitting of Dibru College Readers' Club. It observed Librarian's Day every year. In Librarian' Day, it organises talk program in different high schools to provide Community Service. The Best Reader award has been awarded in observance of Librarians' Day.

The library has some special section i.e.  Digital Library, Internet Section, Question Bank Section and Book Bank Section, Old and Rear Book Section, Journal Section, Reference Section, Children Section, Classic Section, Career Guide Section. It offers a better reading environment along with120 seat capacity and a RELAX READING ROOM facility for those who reads more than one hour. The library has connected with INFLIBNET’s N-LIST Programme. It provides 1, 97,000 e-books and 6241e- journals. The Digital Library and E resource service are available at 24×7 hours. The user attendance is transferred by Barcode Log In.

   Library is using Software for University Libraries 3.0 (SOUL 3.0). DSpace is used to create Digital Library. The library uses DDC21 for classification.

       personal way.
#    To act as supplementing and complementing agent to class room              teaching and learning.
#     Not to act as passive keeper of information, but to play role of                 interpreter of     information.
#     To increase reader and to build community.

Reading habit

Nurturing reading habit is the prime aim of Dibru College Central Library. To increase the book reader the library observes Librarians' Day at high schools that the teenagers can make their leisure time meaningful. The librarian, Dipika Das has delivered lectures in various academic platform to keep mental health secure and stress free by reading a book. Prominent writer Homen Bargohaign opines that remembering the long poems and recieting it people can away from dementia. Read Book and say bye bye to stress and dementia.
